Irish Dad

Connor’s dad is Irish and had a stash of his grandfather’s shillelaghs sitting in storage.

These are walking sticks with a really special character to them.

Connor wanted those incorporated, along with the Irish flag colors and their family crest.

After cutting and placing the shillelaghs on top, we poured a clear acrylic with wisps of orange, green, and white between them.

On the bottom, we went with a simple burned family crest.

And for the alignment, an Irish cross fit the theme perfectly.

Connor said that he’s seen his dad cry three times in his life: twice at funerals, and once when he opened his father’s day present.
